PLUX Biosignals Wireless, a startup company dedicated to research and development in the area of biosignals, participated in the "Portugal Startup Awards" during the 5th edition of Ignite Portugal, having won in the categories of Best Startup and Audience Favorite.
PLUX participated with its bioPLUX Clinical project, presented by CEO and Assistant Professor of FCT - UNL, Prof. Hugo Gamboa. This project revolutionizes the practice of physiotherapy by taking advantage of new technologies to make the therapist's intervention more effective and the patient's recovery quicker.

The jury was composed by representatives from reputable companies and potential investors as IAPMEI, AICEP Capital Global, TMN, MICROSOFT, NOVABASE Capital, SEED Capital, Capital Criativo, ASK Capital, MAGMA EQUITY, FININTER, AdVENTURE Capital, MADAN Capital, EXPLORER Investments, INOV Capital, FINICIA Iapmei, APBA, FNABA, AUDAX-ISCTE, ISCTE-IUL MIT PORTUGAL, FULLSIX, THE NEXT WEB, iMATCH, IGNITE PORTUGAL. 

Portugal Ignite gives the opportunity for startup companies to present their projects in areas such as Innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. The companies have five minutes to present themselves and capture the audience's and the jury's interest. The best startup will see its effort and vision rewarded with the "Portugal Startup Award".
