Nominated by Prof. Virginia Trigo from ISCTE/Audax, PLUX was selected to represent Portugal in the Growth Companies Competition at the 2010 HiT Barcelona World Innovation Summit.

Over 80 companies, from 23 countries in the World, gathered to showcase their work during 2 days, for a panel of venture capitalists and industry leaders amongst which were represented companies as Nokia, Philips, IBM, Siemens and many others.

Growth companies from Healthcare, Cleantech, and IT/Media industries, were competing in each area for "Biggest Innovation", "Greatest Social Value", and "Potential for Biggest Social Impact" awards.

Before a panel of 37 top experts at a global level, PLUX was distinguished in Barcelona, where the event was held, with the "Biggest Innovation" award, the highest recognition for its class. The prize was awarded ex aequo to the Spanish company EyyToo.
