PLUX has just added a new member to its sensors product line. The linkPLUX was created in response to the needs of introducing synchronization mechanism in our bioPLUX units in a variety of ways, ranging from simple digital event annotation in the collected signals, to the creation of digital marks which are shared among multiple systems.

This new accessory integrates seamlessly with bioPLUX. It connects to the available digital I/O port, providing the following features and synchronization options:


. wireless toggling through software commands

. controllable LED light

. momentary pushbutton switch for manual toggling of the digital input

. parallel connection of multiple bioPLUX units for synchronized data capture

. make synchronization signals available to third-party devices through a digital output plug

. acquisition of synchronization signals from third-party devices through a digital input plug

Examples of application include synchronization with video cameras using the bundled LED, synchronization of multiple bioPLUX units connected in parallel, manual event annotation through the bundled swith, among many others.
